Alien Escapade º Episode 0280 - The Locations: Captain, Cheng, Ding, E1 Gera, E3 Jota, Feny, Liang, Sales, ~ 9 {Space Dock + Sales ~2} ``Sales: There is an anti-collision beacon system available which Algol and Cepheus have only recently adopted as their standard, but it is not full-proof which is why pilots rely on their skills. Neither will it work if the other Saucer is not on the same system or in your case a plane. ``Captain: Ouch! Well, I think we ought to have it anyway, so how much? ``Sales: Actually it is quiet cheap at ¢2,000’s. ``Captain: That is for you! Order it please. What else do we need for Cepheus? ``Sales: You should be okay, because we have upgraded everything when the Saucer was stripped down, so it should meet requirements. ``Captain: What about a license Certificate? ``Sales: I can send off the flight documentation of implementation to Cepheus that you are wishing to establish a flight plan Verification Notice. ``Captain: Zaa, do that, please. ``Sales: Confirmed, and I will let them deal with you direct. ``Captain: Absolutely. Will you go and see the other Company at Hobbs City and explain we are having this anti-collision system installed. ``Sales That will be my next call. In fact after lunch, I will be on my way. How’s the North Apron doing? ``Captain: We are having to bring in more rubble to form the ballast of a new foundation and we may have to re-site the building behind it, so it is going to take a while. {Elders Full Meeting - Planning ~ 3} ``Qualla: The outstanding application for an extra room at the back of Vanna’s trullo for a small office is now to be made big enough to house the second grand piano; and to extend the parking area as we often have to park on the grass. It is also needed for Leila’s trullo as well. The canal extension is feasible, but it will have to be at least 3Km in length, so it can curve around at a shadow angle, to line it up to the terminal, but being a Canal End it will have to be reinforced to stop any long term corrosion. A Quayside will be needed for for visitors and a turning point as these narrow boats are very long at over 5 metres in length means they will need a big turning circle. There is plenty of room at the side of the terminal building, away from the Canal to extend it for a Crèche. I also recommend some trees etc, in the landscaping and new quoins as well as a seating area. If the Parki area was extended, which is needed anyway it would allow parking for another 50 buggy places and we would only lose 10 buggy places for the extension to the Hall of Variety building, westward. The lost space in the Parki, will house the loft and the Organ. On the east side of the building, there is room for a one metre extension which would improve the seating area for another 20 seats. These are provisional figures, but should be a minimum requirement. ``Elder 3: Therefore can we take a vote on block? [- Zaa’s -] Excellent and unanimous, Chair. ``Elder 1: I am pleased, because these three constructive projects, need to get underway. {Chinese Embassy Meeting ~ 4} - [Back on Earth] ``Feny: We have approval from HQ to set up a safe haven over here for the Saucer. ``Liang: That is good news, but where? ``Cheng It is going to be difficult, because we do not have any military basis, and it is too close to the Americans. ``Ding: The only thing I can think of, is to land on our aircraft carrier. ``Cheng, But someone would double cross us and leak it out. ``Liang: That would be an interesting exercise. ``Cheng: Your place is not big enough, but there are plenty of places up for sale. ``Liang: In that case let’s go house hunting.
