``Vanna: The Lacertians are finally coming in 2 qefs. Therefore we need you to get licensing approval for the Hotel Helipad. The Mob can do everything which needs to be upgraded. ``Captain: Okay I will get it done now. Dalbir? ``Dalbir: Zaa Captain. ``Captain: Can you find Mob and Hop us over to the Hotel Hopper-pad in Whirly? ``Dalbir: Zaa. ``Vanna: It is 33m high. ``Dalbir: Zarfs and Zimo. ``Captain: So you did find the wormhole? ``Vanna: Zaa, and it came out on the far side of Deneb, so it took us 1-hour to get back to Deneb? ``Captain: How long, was the wormhole? ``Vanna: It took 53 units at Mach 33, which was doubled. And it was 9,800 Km long. I will send you the full report shortly. ``Captain: Excellent. I must get on, zimo.

``Vanna: I presume you have a basement? ``Manager: Zaa. ``Vanna: We need to allocate a room, so we can house our junction boxes and computer. ``Manager: Let us go and see what we can find which is suitable, --- There are three possibilities, so which one would you prefer? ``Vanna: The middle one and it has a strong door and plenty of space inside. We will need an electronic locking system. ``Manager: Get what you need and I will have this cleared out and scrubbed clean. What colour would like it? ``Vanna: A warm cream, and we will need an outside vent added, at the top in the corner. ``Manager: I will have maintenance in and have it done first, owing to the mess. ``Vanna: I need a basement layout plan for Cables, so they know where to come in. ``Manager: My secretary will sort that out and run you off a copy. ``Vanna: In fact I will need one for each floor, but there is qaa panic as yet. ``Manager: I will get you a fresh set of everything.

``Vanna: I have had another thought! We are laying visual cables and not electric cables. The existing conduit will all be replaced with new and slightly bigger conduit as the cables are much thicker. If anyone tried to tamper with the cable, they would be lucky to end up in hospital. ``Manager: Zarfs for the warning. ``Vanna: I recommend you call in the electrical inspector, as I too need a chat with him because the parallel cable runs could cause a problem. ``Manager: Will you be around for a few qefs? As I heard you have just got back again from Cepheus? ``Vanna: Our next two short runs are to Algol. ``Manager: You always seem to turn up lunch time, so we can go and see my Secretary on the way. I will leave this long list on her desk.

{Citadel Hotel Restaurant ~ 2}
``Waitress: Zaa. ``Vanna: A light special and red juice. ``Manager: I will have the same. ``Waitress: Zaa. ``Vanna: The next job is to vet the staff as not many can cope with the Cyclops species. ``Manager: Okay I will advertize it to all staff for volunteers. -|-``Waitress: Excuse me. ``Vanna: Call me in as soon as you have had some responses, because they will also need a pep talk on how to handle the Lacertians. ``Manager: It will do them good. ``Vanna: Your Hopper-pad is being updated and licensed, so the Captain will bill you direct for that. We will have a camera up there shortly and I suggest your reception has a computer somewhere. ``Manager: I will make enquires on where they would prefer it. ``Vanna: Nice lunch.

``Selina: Since my request to my staff for suggestions, their priority is a proper pathway between buildings, as it can get very muddy when it is wet. ``Vanna: Fine, do it. ``Selina: That means half a kilometre of paving and gravel and sand being laid and ridged edging. ``Vanna: Get it done ASAP and I will pay the bill. ``Selina: That is another fantastic offer. ``Vanna: I can cover it. ``Selina: I will get Okapi to get someone in to do it. ``Vanna: You must also consider health and safety and if one did slip over and hurt themselves then you are liable. ``Selina: You win. Are you staying? ``Vanna: Can I have my special this evening? Scrambled ova and fungi, with side salad? ``Vanna: Zaa. ``Selina: Certus. ``Vanna: I will be in my room.
