``Vanna: I trust we have all recovered from Algol yesterday? ``Vanna: Beagle is still with us, and Master has gone home on his rest period. Tetra, we have 1 week your birthday. Therefore if we leave shortly for Cepheus we can be back in time. ``Tetra: Zarfs. Neither, have you clarified about the cable! ``Vanna: You cannot expect me to do everything for everyone else. However, I hand you over to Beagle. ``Beagle: There is a drawbridge in all Eagles. It runs from the back end, down the centre isle of the fuselage and stops short, towards the escape hatch. Therefore we will have a double Space walk. One here and one in Cepheus. ``Tetra: Space Suits? ``Vanna: We can use the Captain's old ones, and I will pick them up later. ``Tetra: Why not take the Eagle with us, then that would save all the problems! ``Beagle: That is a good idea, but what does Vanna think? ``Vanna: It is a brilliant idea, but I will have to consult with Master, so I will call him up on the visual link later. However Cheb has agreed to do a space walk at his end, which would be easier.

``Scotty: Is the drawbridge independent from the passengers? ``Beagle: Zaa. We depressurise the Hold which is where the drawbridge is. ``Vanna: In that case, we must test this option out, that it is functioning correctly. ``Beagle: What we could do is to have some fun with Space Dock. We will land and pick up the space suits in Eagle, and then we can drop the drawbridge down. ``Vanna: Excellent idea, and approved. ``Tetra: I am coming. ``Scotty: I might as well come for the ride. ``Tetra: So we use Fluffy and Nelly to Airbase; then Eagle to Space Dock? I think we are going mad. ``Vanna: That is a good sign. We can all have lunch in Space Dock. ``Scotty: Now you are talking. ``Vanna: Okay let us make a move.

{Space Dock Tower ~ 5}
``Beagle: Eagle20 to Space Dock, over. ``Kirin: Dock to Eagle 20, go ahead over. ``Beagle: Eagle20 permission to land on SP5 over. ``Kirin: Dock to Eagle20. I am not aware you are in our system over. ``Beagle: Eagle20 Squawking 25242 over. ``Kirin: Dock to Eagle20 I have you on SCANDA. Standby. Captain? I have Eagle20 who wants to land on SP5. ``Captain: I smell a rat here. Approved. ``Kirin: Dock to Eagle approved and approach either from east or west, northerly wind of 10kts over. ``Beagle: Confirmed. ``Vanna: Have they sussed it? ``Tetra: I think the Captain has, but not Kirin. ``Beagle: I will be landing Eagle, but I will talk you through the procedure. Dropping in, down. Let us go and sign in. ``Kirin: You rascals! You win. Where did you get that Eagle from? ``Vanna: It belongs to me. ``Captain: A nice trick folks. ``Vanna: Captain, can we have your old space suits and I will buy you all lunch. ``Captain: Kirin, go and get the old space suits and recharge the oxygen packs. ``Kirin: Zaa Captain.

(Space Dock Restaurant ~ 4}
``Captain: I wish my staff could come up with a clever ploy like that. ``Tetra: Any news on S172? ``Captain: We are still waiting for parts, but after reading Dr Kali's report, the emergency lighting had also collapsed. Therefore I have instructed Pilot for a new independent circuit, and for it to be reviewed on the S182. ``Vanna: So everything went out? ``Captain: It was only the internal battery which kept the distress beacon going. ``Beagle: That is weird. Are you suspecting foul play? ``Captain: Qaa. It was just a coincidence. ``Vanna: I still think we should advise Sheriff of the incident. ``Captain: Zaa, and you can get a mail through to him direct. ``Vanna: Zaa. It seems too much of a coincidence to me, that you have had such a 'catastrophic failure. ``Captain: I have not ruled it out and Pilot is considering all possibilities, but everything has to be replaced. and it was five years old. So you are going for a double ended space walk? ``Vanna: Zaa, as it is the easiest option. I presume SP6 will take Cosmo? ``Captain: I will get the plans updated with the Mob. ``Vanna: Is there enough cleared area next to SP6? ``Captain: I will look into it, and update NOTUS. ``Vanna: Can we land the Vulcan on SP5? ``Captain: Tricky, but possible.
