Alien Escapade • Episode 0839 - The New Approvals: Albi, Okapi, Selina, Tetra, Vanna, ~ 05 {Sandalwood Fundus ~ 5} ``Tetra: Mum, Dad and Vanna, quin meet my friend Aster. ``Aster: Zenden, and zaffre for inviting me to dinner. ``Selina: Zenden. It is nothing special, but I am sure that assault course would have made you hungry. ``Aster: I did 95% of it, so I have done well. I certainly needed a shower, after getting drenched in that swamp which was pretty effective. ``Okapi: I can see you are not built for the army, but they do use it for training. ``Selina: Help yourself and just take as much as you can eat, we do not stand on ceremonies, but we do not talk whilst we are eating, and we give thanks to the Cosmos for this food we have. ``Vanna: How come such a sudden shift in style of personalities? ``Aster: It had been on my mind for sometime, and I was getting more intrigued with Zola's live shows and I was reading between the lines. ``Okapi: So is that what persuaded you to change your style? ``Aster: Zaa, because there is very little publicity, and I can only pick up snippets of information. ``Tetra: I can give you a long list of the things we have got up to over the last couple of years, but it is for your own personal use only. ``Aster: Zaa quin, because it is going to take time to get up to speed and I will be lagging behind. ``Selina: We do have many briefings and debriefings and everything is scrutinized, so could you cope with that? ``Aster: It may become a challenge, but I will not learn unless I try. ``Vanna: Our Captain's trial went on over 3 qefs, have you the stamina to cope with a predicament of that intensity? ``Aster: I hope so, although I do not wish it. All I know is that I have had enough of the past, and this is the only way forward. ``Selina: We will leave you two alone, and we will talk more later. ``Tetra: Zarfs Mum. ``Okapi: So far so good. ``Selina: He has his head screwed on. ``Vanna: He certainly has a good understanding on life. ``Selina: He is much better than Leno. ``Okapi: He is, what Leno is not. ``Vanna: He has taken on more than he can chew, but I think he will make it through. ``Selina: Tetra has also done that. ``Okapi: Initially I approve. ``Vanna: So do we take him on the Algol trip? ``Selina: 2-hour trips, against a 2 qef trip will do wonders for his ego. ``Vanna: So I have your approval for Algol? [Zaa's] ``Vanna: I hear that you are coming too for a change? ``Okapi: I will have to under the new set of circumstances. ``Vanna: Mum is keeping the passenger lists, so you had better talk to your dear wife! ``Selina: Oh, how nicely put. I will prepare us some drinks and Vanna would you like to call them down? ``Vanna: Certus. ``Vanna: Albi, you have been initially approved. However you have not mentioned your parents? ``Aster: They are both quiet parents and I did tell them I am coming to meet you, and all my Mum said was, 'as long as you are happy'. ``Vanna: We are off to Algol in a couple of qefs at short notice. Therefore you have been invited to come along. ``Aster: Zaffre. ``Vanna: Now for a short Pep talk. I am in charge, and any problems Leila takes over. Unless it is a Captain's issue like we have just had with the S172. However if Tetra is in charge, you must do as she tells you. So do you accept the rules? ``Aster: Zaa, I do. ``Vanna: Tetra will keep you informed. Anything you would like to ask? ``Aster: I do not think so, as Tetra should be able too cope. ``Vanna: You are free to go. Zimo. ``Tetra: Mum, zarfs for the dinner, and I will take Aster home. ``Vanna: I am off home, as I want to hear the news from Pilot about our flying machines. Zimo. {Vanna's Trullo ~ 1} - [Mail] ``Vanna: A mail from Pilot. Subject - Cosmo1. !!Dear Vanna, the SAA want ¢750, (not ¢500) as there is more work to check out. That is not a surprise, as long as they do the job properly. !!Many seals were perishing and we have replaced most of them. The others are on order. The quoin suction system was a mess, as with the sewage. Replaced showers and taps and other things. Will be ready by noon tomorrow. Get Captain over to lift out S172 so you can lift off.
