Episode 0407 - The Pains: Captain, Cavie, Cheb, Cyma, Dux, Farle, Frass, Kirin, Mob, Skipper, Pilot, Tetra, Yafo, ~ 13 ``Yafo: Looking at the plans, we allow 15m for each Saucer Pad and 15m gap between Saucers, which is over the minimum limit requirement of 12m. Therefore SP5 will now go in the middle of the row, and that will have a 3m diameter clearance. Therefore that makes at total of 185m and we are reclaiming additional ground, by getting rid of the ridge on the west side, and moving half the carriage way to the east, which will also give us a solid boundary fence. ``Cyma: What is the gap between the terminal building and the Saucers? ``Yafo: Firstly the terminal building is being extended to the west, by at least 8m. We have a 5m gap and they will all be realigned horizontally. At the north side we will have 10m gap clearance, because of the fuel lines and the new security post being built to the starboard side of the depot. ``Dux: How does the Saucer fill up? ``Kirin: We tug it over, and then bring it back. We also have a dump tank for an emergency. ``Cyma: Can I see this tank quin? ``Captain: Certus. We will take you anywhere you wish to go after the this meeting. --|-- Frass: A moment quin, as I am translating with some difficulty. ``Cavie: What about extra navigational beacons? ``Yafo: Zaa, once we get initial acceptance of the plans, you can help us to decide where we should need them. ``Cheb: We are on a completely different measurement system to yours. Therefore I need you to mark out a diagonal line right across the Apron, so we can take a measurement and come up with a formula to convert. ``Yafo: The Mob who is here, will get on and do that straight away. ``Cyma: You could put a permanent line in, so the Saucer and passengers do not cross it, halfway between the terminal building and the Saucer Pads. ``Yafo: Excellent idea, and I will make it happen, Mob? ``Mob: Zaa Yafo. ``Farle: What about additional security? ``Yafo: The east side will be protected by the old ring way. The north side is having a 3m high grid fence, with a security gate. The west side will still have a ditch and the west ring way, but we will continue with the grid fencing. ``Cyma: I see that you are updating the conduit, but what about electrical power? ``Yafo: When the Apron was extended for SP4, they found major problems underground, and new cables were laid. This delayed the project by over a week. Also we will create a new west route whilst we are upgrading, which will act as a backup if one should fail for any reason. ``Captain: Can I suggest we go and take a look. We have the Hopper-bus, and I have put Space Dock on temporary closed for 1 time. --- ``Cyma: This is impressive, having a large underground tank. ``Captain: We had a problem and could not drain the fuel off, and I was not going to accept that under any conditions. ``Cyma: Approved. I will be advising Algol and Cepheus for an update to their specification. ``Captain: We will take S172, so Cavie can show us where he would like the beacons. {Space Dock onboard S172 - Upper Deck and Lower Deck ~ 5} ``Kirin: S172 to Tower, permission to lift off, over? ``Tetra: Tower to S172, permission granted, but I do not like the look of that cloud coming in from the west, over. ``Kirin: Zarfs Tower. ``Tetra: Hold S172 In fact it is a front and the mbar pressure is dropping, over. ``Kirin: Zarfs Tower, I will get our other pilots in on this as well. ``Skipper: Put the weather map on the screen! ``S-Pilot: Blimey she is right. ``Dux: This is an unusual phenomenon. ``Cavie: I have never seen this before. Captain, make sure we get a hard copy. ``Captain: Confirmed. ``Cheb: Our Saucers like a long glide approach to ease the thrust for landing. ``Cavie: In that case according to your scale, 10m and 100m beacons. ``Yafo: We are having a flight path ‘Handle’ and in this case it will be north, north east to avoid the mountains to the east.
