Alien Escapade ºº Episode 0235 - The Skills: Captain, Kara, Leila, Maestro, Pilot, Qualla, Selina, Tetra, Vanna, ~ 09 Space Dock Tower ~ 2 + S-Pilot} ``S-Pilot: There is one simple way around this problem, naturally it is not so good, as you get nothing for nothing, but it is effective and as long as you can defuse the scanning of a satellite then it should not detect anything unusual. ``Captain: Go on! ``S-Pilot: We will put a large prism on top of the saucer, which beams the spectrum of light through it from all the surrounding area. It is then amplified and the output prism reflects it back over the surface of the saucer. The advantage is that it changes colour as the light changes. ``Captain: What needs to be installed? ``S-Pilot: Briefly, there is a hatch next to the escape hatch. This is empty, so we can mount it in there. ``Captain: Okay, time span and costs? ``S-Pilot: The upgrade kit comes from Cepheus. So say a Wesk. Costs!? They are not sure, but certainly not excessive, so we will be willing to do the lot for ¢5,000. ``Captain: It had better work or we could all be dead! ``S-Pilot: I am sure you will reach a thousand years, before you move on! ``Captain: Okay, order it. ``S-Pilot: Marvellous. I will be intrigued to see this device and we might see if we can make it work on your old saucer. ``Captain: I would have thought you would have sold it by now! ``S-Pilot: We have had some offers, but no final commitment, as no one had reached the asking price. ``Captain: Do not be greedy and take what you can get. ``S-Pilot: I concur. {Sandalwood Fundus + Maestro} ``Selina: Zenden Maestro. Most interesting. It is a unique sound and quite complicated to get used to! The problem we have is that we rely on our computers too much, but this is a skill well worth developing. ``Leila: Wonderful. ``Maestro: We will need some help to master it on how we can play this to your standards! ``Vanna: We are arranging for Keith to come up who can play this and the Organ. ``Maestro: If I may, I will get our crafts Beings to come over to start making a replica. In fact, could you bring us up another one? ``Vanna: What a surprise, but certainly, Zaa. ``Maestro: Can I borrow these books and I will have them copied and have them returned. The only other problem is that it takes up a lot of room and we will have to find room from somewhere. ``Leila: In our Albert Hall, they have lifts under the stage, so they can store 4 pianos. ``Maestro: I will pass that information on at our next meeting. Can you bring back more information on your Albert Hall? ``Vanna: Zaa. ``Maestro: Excellent. This might now get us the extension we need and have been asking for. Selina can you please mail us some times when it will be convenient to call again. ``Selina: Afternoons are better! ``Maestro. I have other things to do, but zarfs anyway. Zimo. ``Vanna: Zaa. Can I see if Zola is available? ``Selina: Zaa. ``Vanna: Standby! Half time? She is at last responding, and is on her way. ``Tetra: Vanna! ``Vanna: Tetra quano. ``Tetra: The piano is tricky to learn! ``Vanna: Give it time, which is what the Maestro has just said. ``Tetra: It will not let me do this or that! ``Vanna: That is because it is not a computer, and you have to learn the basics. However, if you can master it, you will be playing it all over Cassiopeia. ``Tetra: will I? ``Vanna: Zaa, but it will take a year to do it, and that is to play a few simple tunes. ``Tetra: Goody, goody. --- ``Zola: Zenden. ``Vanna: I have missed you!
